Perched in the darkness of the native forest the female ruru calls. The haunting sound stretches across the expanse of bush, a call to her mate, a claim to her territory. He hears her as he glides silently through the night dropping suddenly to catch a huhu beetle or sink his talons into a rodent intruder. His fledglings wait and watch; for the imperceptible beat of his wing or the glint of moonlight on his back as he returns.

They represent captured moments in the birds’ lives that would normally be impossible to view (except for the Tui). However because of their work, and love for the bird, they have been able to take advantage of the trust afforded them by the bird.

The design of the card is further enhanced with matt lamination which provides a softer more natural looking card. Inside the card there is a photograph and short description of the bird's natural wild habits. Plus we have the remarkable addition of the audio hi-lights of each bird’s song. 

The size of the card is 120mm x 200mm and comes complete with a designed matching envelope.
