Studio Matakana is now proudly owned by locals Juliana and Scott Cowen, who bring with them a shared passion for beautifully designed, high-quality New Zealand products and years of retail experience. As the new custodians of this much-loved store, our vision is to create a welcoming and inspiring retail environment - where customers can explore our carefully curated range both online and in-store.

We believe in the importance of touch, feel, and connection - especially when it comes to candles, fragrances, jewellery, and bags, which are best experienced in person.
