Awkward on land, clumsy in flight and explosive in temperament, the Pukeko doesn’t sing it screeches! With its ancient looking beak, huge feet and strange overstep, plus flamboyant colours, the Pukeko appears to be from another time zone. But when foraging or swimming in the shallow reedy waters of the swamplands they become almost graceful. Here the Pukeko seems to be in harmony with their habitat.

They represent captured moments in the birds’ lives that would normally be impossible to view (except for the Tui). However because of their work, and love for the bird, they have been able to take advantage of the trust afforded them by the bird.

The design of the card is further enhanced with matt lamination which provides a softer more natural looking card. Inside the card there is a photograph and short description of the bird's natural wild habits. Plus we have the remarkable addition of the audio hi-lights of each bird’s song. 

The size of the card is 120mm x 200mm and comes complete with a designed matching envelope.
